Job Purpose

We are looking to hire a Senior UI/UX Designer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the user experience of our innovative online education platform. This role offers the opportunity to design intuitive, engaging, and impactful experiences for educators, students, and their families. As a key contributor, you will help shape a product that bridges the gap between traditional education and modern e-learning, ensuring accessibility, engagement, and educational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design pixel-perfect user interfaces for both web and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to design guidelines for web, iOS, and Android platforms.
Create prototypes for new design ideas, incorporating unique features such as live sessions, interactive tools, and digital payment systems.
Optimize and enhance existing user interface designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and content creators, to ensure alignment with proprietary content and educational standards.
Design interfaces focusing on accessibility, making them usable by all students, including those with special needs.
Ensure the quality and consistency of designs are maintained throughout the development process by reviewing implementations with the Development Team.
Contribute to the evolution of the platform by brainstorming and implementing features that support future initiatives like gamification and community engagement.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Proficiency in using modern design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
A solid understanding of current trends, design patterns, color theory, web typography, and user psychology
Experience in conducting usability tests and iterating designs based on real-world feedback
A strong portfolio showcasing both web and mobile designs, including examples of interactive and user-centric designs
3+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in the education or e-learning domain
